Pulled BBQ Crockpot Chicken

Hubby loves BBQ! This slow cooker chicken is perfect by itself, served with rice, veggies,
or even better: between two slices of bread or burger buns!



* Chicken breasts (one per person)

* Diced onion
* 1 cup of BBQ Sauce
* 1/4 cup of brown sugar
* 1/4 cup of italian dressing

* 1 tsp soy sauce

* 1 tsp lemon juice

* 1/4 cup Mustard (regular not dijon)
* 2 tsp Paprika
* 2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
* 1 tsp Cumin

* 1 tsp garlic powder


* Salt

Total Prep Time: 15 minutes.

Total Cooking Time:  4 ½  to 6 ½  hours.

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

1. Place the diced onions and chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
2. Season with pepper.
3. In a mixing bowl combine :
1 cup of BBQ sauce.
1/4 cup of brown sugar.
1/4 cup of italian dressing.
1 teaspoon of soy sauce.
1 teaspoon of  lemon juice.

Mustard, paprika, cayenne, cumin, and garlic powder seasonings.


4. Mix thoroughly.
5. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours (or low for 6).
6. Once the time is up, shred with two forks.
7. Place chicken back in the pot for 10 minutes to soak up the delicious BBQ sauce!


Stir & Serve.

 

Note: Toast hamburger buns and serve them up with cheese or veggies to make a pulled BBQ sandwich!
