Philly Steak Crescent (or Biscuit) Bites

The taste of a philly cheesesteak sandwich in a bite-sized roll! If you’re into the whole
“Philly-cheesteak” thing, why not go crazy and try this with my Philly casserole & make it a beefy cheesy dinner night? Whether you are cooking for two or more, adjust the portions for meat, cheese, and veggies as desired.

 

* Pillsbury Crescent Rolls or Pillsbury Grands
* Ground beef , deli roast beef, or diced cube steak
* One small white onion
* Half a bell pepper
* Garlic Powder
* Provolone cheese slices
* 3 Tbsp of butter

Total Prep Time: 15-20 minutes.

Total Cooking Time:   45 minutes

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Chop onions & dice bell pepper.

  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  3. Heat a skillet.

  4. Add 3tbsp of butter.

  5. Brown meat evenly.

  6. Add onions & peppers to the skillet.

  7. Sautee' until onions are translucent.

  8. Roll out crescents or tear open biscuits in half.

  9. Add a slice (or half a slice) of provolone cheese.

  10. Add meat/veggie mixture.

  11. Roll up crescent dough or 'seal' biscuits.

  12. Grease a baking dish.

  13. Place each roll in the dish and sprinkle with garlic powder.

  14. Pop in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

  15. Serve!
