Crockpot Butter-Ranch Mushrooms

Hubby Deliciousness Meter: 9/10

My guy used to hate mushrooms. Not anymore!

Buttery goodness begins with a crockpot & mushrooms, plus it's super easy to make.
All I have to do is remember to get mushrooms and a packet of ranch dressing mix.
(since butter is always in the fridge)

* 2 tubs of fresh mushrooms from the grocery  (portebello or white is best)
* 1 stick of butter
* Ranch Dressing Mix (you could also use italian sometime, too!)

* Italian Seasoning (or any leaf herbs)

Total Prep Time: 10 minutes.

Total Cooking Time: 4 hours.

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash the mushrooms first, or soak them in a bowl full of water.

  2. Place each mushroom, one at a time, into the bottom of the crockpot.
(Dumping them in the crockpot can cause unwanted dirt)

  3. In a small mixing bowl add a stick of butter then melt it in the microwave.
(Takes my microwave around a minute and a half to melt a whole stick)

  4. Add a packet of ranch dressing mix to the butter bowl.

  5. Mix thoroughly then pour this over the mushrooms in the crockpot.

  6. Add italian seasoning or any herbs you have on hand like parsley or basil.

  7. Cook on low for 4 hours.
