Crockpot Pot Roast With Green Beans

This crockpot roast practically cooks itself! 5-8 hours, dump some ingredients in,

and dinner is DONE. Plus it is super delicious, Mississipi style, always best from the south!

* Chopped Onions

* Dry Onion Soup Mix

* Roast (flat ion roast, top round roast, or even cubed roast)

* Dry Ranch Dressing Mix

* 1 (or more) cans of green beans
* Butter or garlic butter

* Diced potatoes and/ or carrots (optional)
 

 

Total Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Cooking Time: 5-8 hours

INGREDIENTS

  1. Brown the roast in a pan on either sides, sprinle salt and pepper. (optional)
    This preserves the juices.

  2. Place the roast in the crockpot/slowcooker

  3. Put onions around the roast.

  4. Place butter or garlic butter on top of the roast.

  5. Dump in dry ranch dressing mix and dry onion soup packet.

  6. Pour the can of diced potatoes and/or carrots in (optional).

  7. Pour the can of green beans in.

  8. Cook for 8 hours on LOW or 5 hours on HIGH.
    Goes great with mashed potatoes and/or salad. Enjoy!
