Blueberry Lemon Cake

I love fruity cakes! I love blueberries. I love lemons. Put them together and I'm in heaven!
Complete with a simple yet delicious lemon glaze.
* Lemon zest
* Blueberries (Fresh or frozen)
* 1 ½ cups of sugar
* 1 stick of butter
* 1½ cups of flour
* 3 eggs
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
* 1 Lemon
* 1 cup powdered sugar
* 1/3 cup of milk
Total Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Cooking Time: 1 ½ hours
INGREDIENTS

Have lemon zest and blueberries ready!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease or line a loaf pan.

Melt one stick of butter in a microwaveable mixing bowl.

Add 1½ cups of sugar and cream it together.

Crack in three eggs and 2 TBSP of vanilla extract.

Mix well, then add 1 ½ cups of flour and 1 tsp baking powder.

Add in 1/3 cup of milk, the blueberries, and lemon zest.

Fold them in fast or they will sink, quickly pour the batter in the loaf pan!

Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

While it is baking peel the lemon you used from the zest,
Add half of it to a blender/processor along with 1 cup of powdered sugar. -
Glaze it over the cake when it is done and serve when cooled! Yummy!
